Keep cameras off if you need to - but drop a reaction or a quick chat ping every few minutes so I know you're tracking. I don't want to talk into a void.
Detailed Tips
- Replace visual cues with emoji reactions, polls, or chat pings every 5-7 minutes
- Normalize it: cameras off is fine, use words and reactions instead of faces
- Pause deliberately before asking for responses - no pressure to unmute instantly
- Model energy yourself even without visual feedback
